Ubisoft has just launched a brand new update which includes two new Incrediball families: the Cutieflowers, a fluffy collection of Seekers, and the Furballs, a tough family of Protectors. When Rayman Adventures launched, around 20 Incrediball families were included, each of which contained three to seven Incrediballs. The Incrediballs live on the tree and you can play with them, feed them, and create music with them using the Creatures Beatbox. You can check out your sacred tree at any time, and keep an eye on your Incrediball collection here too. This affects how much the tree grows when you unlock each one. Incrediballs have four different levels of rarity, which are bronze, silver, gold, and crystal. This is a minigame in itself as you can see the size of your friends' trees and try to outgrow them. You can bring up to three Incrediballs into a level with you, with the power of their abilities increasing when you choose more than one of the same family.įor example, if you choose three Inhalers, they'll suck in a far greater number of Lums than just a single one would.Ĭollecting Incrediballs is the aim of the game in Rayman Adventures, as they help to grow your very own sacred tree. Seekers hunt high and low for hidden items, Protectors beat up enemies, and Inhalers pull all Lums towards you like magnets. They're bizarre in appearance but have special abilities which help Rayman to achieve the highest score - and the biggest rewards - in each level. These eggs contain Rayman's greatest ally to date - the Incrediballs. In terms of plot, Rayman and his Viking companion Barbara have to save the enchanted forest which is in danger after the ancient eggs that keep the sacred tree safe were stolen. It picks up where Jungle Run and Fiesta Run left off, except this time there's a larger focus on exploration thanks to a new ability to swipe and change direction.Īside from that though, you'll still be running through a variety of UbiArt-developed levels, beating up enemies, collecting Lums, and freeing captured Teensies as before. Rayman Adventures, which launched on December 3rd, has already been awarded a place among the App Store's 'Best of 2015'.
